The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs of Qatar, in cooperation with the Islamic Art Museum of this country, is organizing the largest Arabic calligraphy competition called "Al-Raqeem".
"Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Mahmoud" Cultural Center affiliated with the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs of Qatar announced that all people over the age of 18 can participate in this contest by posting and sending the original copy of their calligraphy works from "designated texts" on the site. do
These competitions will be held in five groups: Tholut, Naskh, Nastaliq Jali, Diwani, and Kufi Qur'anic calligraphy, and each participant can participate in only two groups of the competition.
The deadline for submitting works is December 26, 2024 (6th of December 1403).
Prizes for the top winners in each group from first to third place are 85,000 to 50,000 Qatari Rials. Cash prizes will be awarded to the fourth to eighth place.
